Women's Leadership Coalition - Diversity in the Workplace

Join us on Friday, February 3, 2017, as we host the Women's Leadership Coalition meeting sponsored by OhioHealth.  This month, we will focus on "Diversity in the Workplace" with a speaker from the Pickerington Local School District Diversity Team, Debra Porter-Sawyer.

Debra Porter-Sawyer is an educator with forty years of experience in three Central Ohio school districts. She had served in a variety of educational capacities, including as a classroom teacher, special education coordinator, dean of students, assistant principal, personnel coordinator, assistant human resources director.
 
She is currently director of human resources for Pickerington Schools.  Her duties include staff recruitment/retention, resident educator program liaison, district wellness co-chair, district Diversity Leadership Committee chair, and Support Staff Negotiation Team member, to highlight a typical day.
