Winter Hike at Smeck Park

Don’t hibernate, get outside!  Walk the Paw Paw and Walnut Creek Trails then warm up with hot refreshments.  The hike will be approximately two miles long.  Most hikers will finish in less than an hour.  The trails are always open during daylight hours but those who wish to enjoy refreshments should start between 10:00 a.m. and noon.  Refreshment service will start at 10:30 and last until 1:00.

Trail conditions will vary based on weather.  Be prepared with appropriate footwear to hike in muddy or slippery conditions.  Pets are welcome but must always be under control and on a leash no longer than 6′.  For the health and safety of all, always pick up and properly dispose of pets’ waste.
