AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Fall Bike Night

Motorcycle Hall of Fame Fall Bike Night

Oct. 9 event features free admission, music, trail riding, food truck

The AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame invites all motorcyclists and other community members to its Fall Bike Night, 4:30-7:30 p.m. Oct. 9 at the American Motorcyclist Association campus in Pickerington, Ohio.

AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Bike Nights bring together motorcyclists of all backgrounds. Admission to the event is free.
Bike Night includes free admission to the Hall of Fame, which houses motorcycles, memorabilia and other displays connected to motorcycling racers, innovators, advocates and industry leaders.

Music will be provided by Capitol City Sound. And the Dos Hermanos Taco Truck (facebook.com/DosHermanosTacoTruck) will be selling food and beverages.

The AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Adventure Bike Challenge allows riders to test their big bike off-road skills. This is a short, unguided AMA-sanctioned ride that includes tight trails with trees, mud, sand, rocks, log crossings, uphills and downhills.

For a $5 donation to the Hall of Fame, participants can ride as many loops as they like from 4:30-6 p.m. Ride with caution. Walking the course before riding it is recommended. Adventure or dual-sport bikes only. No competition bikes allowed.

Tickets will be available for a cash donation—one ticket for a $5 donation or five tickets for a $20—for the Lords of the Board Track AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame raffle bike, which will be on display inside the museum. Learn more about the raffle bike at americanmotorcyclist.com/raffle-bike.

To mitigate exposure in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the following measures will be in place:
  • Indoor occupancy to the museum will be limited 70 visitors at a time.
  • Motorcycle parking will be spaced to allow social distancing.
  • Social distancing will be required for guests.
  • Face coverings are mandatory for staff and volunteers and encouraged for visitors.
  • Hand-sanitizing stations will be located throughout the facility.
  • Disinfecting wipes will be provided at high-touch areas.
  • Signs will convey current state guidelines.
  • Temperature checks and health questionnaires will be completed for staff members and volunteers.
Ohio requires that people wear masks in Fairfield County, where the AMA is located, in public buildings at all times and in outdoor public spaces whenever 6 feet of social distancing isn’t possible.
